New Managed Security Offering – March 2012

Spring is right around the corner. For AIS, that brings thoughts of Life Sciences. As you may recall, last year we hosted a well-regarded Life Sciences Panel in our Lightwave facility in San Diego. This year, we are packing up and heading out to Phoenix to participate in the Life Sciences Technology Forum by Q1 productions, which is taking place March 22 – 24, at the Wigwam Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.

We will be showcasing our Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity solutions as well as providing a sneak peek at some of the Life Sciences-specific Cloud offerings under development.

At the end of last year, we announced our partnership with Security On-Demand, the leading provider of hybrid cloud security solutions, to deliver a more robust Managed Security offering for the clients of AIS and beyond.

To recap, AIS e-ManagedSecurity consists of premises and cloud security services that can be tailored to meet a company’s growth and compliance requirements. A key feature is its “single pane of glass”-based client portal that provides instant visibility to real-time security alerts, events, and metrics that support compliance monitoring.

A recurring theme here is compliance, which is something our partner has been living and breathing for years. I spoke with Peter Bybee, president and CEO of Security On-Demand, and we’ve decided to team up on providing free compliance assessments through the end of April. This is a great way to get some “peace of mind” for your business along with having an actionable plan for how to move forward. Contact our Sales Team to learn more by calling 866.971.2656 or click here.

Locally, we are sponsoring the San Diego Business Journal’s Annual Information Technology Executive of the Year Awards, which celebrate San Diego’s exceptional information technology leaders. A special networking reception and awards program is taking place on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, in San Diego. You can find more information here.
