Service Architecture
The AIS Change Management and Incident Management procedures were developed and implemented using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) architecture for establishing and operating IT service management.

ITIL is the de-facto global standard in the area of IT service management and is a comprehensive, non-proprietary and publicly available set of guidelines for "best practices" in IT service management.  It consists of the following five library modules intended to improve IT efficiencies, reduce risks and increase the effectiveness and quality of IT services, management and infrastructure:
  • ITIL Service Strategy
  • ITIL Service Design
  • ITIL Service Transition
  • ITIL Service Operation
  • ITIL Continual Service Improvement
Our commitment to adoption of the ITIL Service Management architecture was recently reinforced with the awarding of the ITIL v3 Foundation Certification to our San Diego based Service Delivery and Client Services management team.
